For three years, 'John' has lain in a coma after being knocked down on a coastal road in a supposed hit-and-run accident. He awakes and recovers physically, but he has no memory of who he was and why he was on the road that fateful night. In his search for answers, he is drawn back to the scene of the accident, but memory is elusive until a chance encounter unlocks the door to his previous life. Suddenly the gaps in his memory begin to close, but is he ready? Not many people get the chance to start life anew, free from baggage. With so many unanswered questions, so many untenable leads, might it not be easier to let the past remain forgotten?
