This is the diary of a man's attempt to break out of a life as an employee, a life in which he feels trapped and undervalued. Deciding that he can no longer tolerate the poor treatment he receives from his employers, he decides to become a self-employed van driver to try to regain control of his working life and have more quality time to spend with his wife and friends. However, he soon discovers that his new way of working has as many drawbacks as his old one and that he's spending more time in traffic jams than he is in the comfort of his own home. . .
