There is no question that 'Phaeton' will cause devastation in one form or another - the question is how much and at what cost to human life? One Miles Poundmore - CEO of a vast, multi-million dollar conglomerate - is a shadowy, reclusive figure to the world at large. Yet in the face of this encroaching disaster, his quiet plans for a global grass roots initiative to address the potential famine, drought and further depletion of organic resources in the aftermath of Phaeton, may well make him something of a latter-day saviour. That is, if the human race survives Phaeton's impact.
