Have you ever dreamt about going on an exciting expedition in search of hidden treasure? Journeying through the arid wastes of a silent desert and the legendary Valley of the Kings? Amazingly, this is just what David and Jenny do. It all starts when they visit an old castle in the Lake District with their Uncle Richard. A lucky escape when a huge stone crashes from the castle ramparts throws up an ageing manuscript amongst the fallen rubble: it is written in Latin. It is the message in this piece of paper that takes them on a journey to Egypt, the mystical land of the pharaohs, to search for buried treasure. Will our intrepid adventurers find these fabulous riches or will the trip after all turn out to be simply an exotic holiday with a difference?
