The Gadwall Chronicles Martin Goddard
The Gadwall Chronicles
Martin Goddard
The little boat made barely a sound as Ali Bey rowed gently. setting his face into a mask of determination, unaware of the trail of bubbles following the little boat. Yes, tonight on the opening night of the hunting season, he, Ali Bey, would make a name for himself by bringing home, dead or alive, that most elusive (some would say legendary) of creatures, a Fiyu. But what exactly is a Fiyu? Or it's close relative, the much-detested Gadwall, for that matter? Ali Bey has no idea, nor does weapon-toting Great Uncle Kemal, or the hilarious Hisaronu Cultural Appreciation Society, but that doesn't stop them joining the hunt for these most elusive of creatures. Martin Goddard was born in Rainham, Essex, too long ago. He studied fine art at Brighton College of Art before teaching in Kent and London. He's single, with one hand-reared son, and open to offers. He spends his time in Turkey and a five-star shed in Essex. He became bored with paint and turned to print.
