Hope, along with Faith and Love, is one of the three core motivational characteristics that God desires to embed in the centre of our being. The purpose is that they would characterise who we are and motivate what we do. But what exactly is hope, and what role does God want it to play in our lives?




Often used merely to describe our wishes or optimism; other times expressed in ways that make it indistinguishable from faith. But hope has its own unique and vital function, raising our sight and bringing God centred anticipation. Hope is the lifter of these.
