By the year 2022 the expanse of North America has become a no-man's land. Broken by war and plague, those who remain must still trade to survive and Detroit is the center of commerce in this lawless world. Far to the south, the growing city-state of Charlotte continues to expand it's grasp, hungry for territory and resources. On a desperate mission to rescue two kidnapped women from a mysterious human trafficking ring, the Ice Cream Man returns in the third installment of A Freak Among Strangers.
