It's 1955, and twenty-four-year-old Virginia "Ginny" Leonard has it all: a handsome, wealthy husband who refuses to touch her, a social circle of cutthroat women who mock her working-class background, and an enviable lifestyle based on façade. That is, until she meets the warm, passionate, unfiltered Peter Merchant.
