Buddhism, or Buddha-Dharma, is enjoying remarkable growth in the West, but its integrity and power have not always been preserved amidst all this expansion. Buddha said the Dharma is like an ocean on several counts: because it remains the same through all changes; because the more you wade into it, the deeper it gets; and because just like the ocean only has one taste, the taste of salt, so the teachings only have one taste, the taste of liberation. This guide offers the profound, integral, and liberating Dharma as an antidote to the dilution of teachings adapted to the demands of the spiritual marketplace and the entropy of practices that are often handed down without an understanding beyond the mind, based on the root experience of Awakening.
