John D. Clyde has been a Master of yachts since 1975 and worked for owners of many nationalities, some of whom are household names. Over the years his travels have taken him to many of the world's most remote and beautiful destinations. Though now a Relief Captain spending just three months of the year at sea, the lure still remains. Being ashore has allowed him time to write The Haunting of Ibis, the first of two novels where fiction is blended with fact. There are crew members past and present who can verify this extraordinary tale where the living were confronted by the dead. Some questions remain unanswered to this day.
