About the author: Marvelle Estrale is an avid reader. She believes meaningful reading is a very personal interaction between the reader and the text. So, to involve her young daughter in reading, she started writing stories based on her many questions. This is one of the stories based on a little girl's imagination as she starts her journey through life.


About the illustrator: Stephany Victorine was born and raised in Seychelles. She is currently living in Canada. She is also a freelance illustrator. Stephany sees art as an important form of self-expression, through which she is able to express her fascination and understanding of what she sees and experiences.
