Every Thanksgiving season, Lacy Winters leaves her home in Kansas and returns to her childhood home in the Virginia suburbs of D. C. to spend the holidays with her mother, father, and siblings. It would be a time filled with many beloved and wonderful holiday traditions that hadn't changed over the years. But this holiday season, Lacy would be changed forever.




A knock on her parents' door brings a mysterious new man into her life. Unfortunately, his visit rehashes memories of a terrible tragedy from many years before, a tragedy that drove her away from Virginia to start a new life in Kansas. Because of her memories, Lacy is unsure whether she can open her heart again. To make matters worse, her new friend has many similarities with her past love, even more than either of them initially realized.
