Gods, Dreams & Love Gerald Griffin
Gods, Dreams & Love
Gerald Griffin
After a stint in a mental institution, Bob Daniels, suffering from the recent death of his finacée, Gloria Hopkins, wants nothing but to be left alone in his lakeside retreat, but when he receives an unexpected visit by Frank Worsly, leader of the secret and wealthy society, the Fraternity of which Bob is still a member, all hopes for that are gone. The Fraternity is facing an existential threat from the well-shielded and powerful Cyprus Group. Frank wants Bob to organize the assassination of Cyprus Group members but Bob wants no part in the deadly scheme.
Then Bob begins to dream of Gods who also order him to kill Cyprus Group members and in exchange will grant him access to his beloved Gloria's spirit. Once Bob finally accepts the mission, he finds himself in way over his head and is forced to rely on the mafia, Fraternity members who have not yet been murdered, Sue Bishop who he suspects is a spy, and the guidance of two Gods who continue to visit him in his dreams.
