When, after a 30 year absence, Wes Callaghan returns to the small, Michigan farming town where he grew up, his intent is to merely bury an old friend and put to rest the guilt he feels for betraying him. Instead, he is forced to confront difficult questions from his past and deal with a present complicated by his brother's cry for help and the discovery that his brother married the girl they both loved so long ago. What ensues is a tale of betrayal, forgiveness and finally, redemption.
