Updated as of May 29, 2018 This document contains the rules of procedures of the Government Accountability Office (GAO) Contract Appeals Board (Board), which will govern all proceedings before the Board. The Board was established pursuant to sec. 1501 of title I of division H of the Consolidated Appropriations Act of 2008 to hear appeals from decisions of contracting officers with respect to any contract entered into by a legislative branch agency. The following rules of procedure are promulgated pursuant to sec. 1501(d) of that act and are applicable to all appeals filed with the Board on or after October 1, 2007. The Board invites comments on this interim rule and intends to publish a final rule after considering all comments received on or before the closing date for comments.
