The Glory Box is a story that spans more than a century and is told in four parts. Book I, Pineapple in Winter, begins with the convening of a special summit of the Confederation of The United Western Territories. The summit is led by Dr. Vytas Boyd, head of the astrophysics department. He begins by reminding the Confederation of the extinction level event that occurred 100 years ago, reshaping the world they live in. He then goes on to explain that his team has recently discovered they are about to face a new crisis that will bring about another ice age - and they only have ten years to prepare. The summit reunites Vytas Boyd's sister, Dr. Alice Wallace, with her college friend, Dr. Kyle Weber. They put their bio-engineering heads together to propose a controversial plan for survival. Alice introduces her brother to the mysterious Agent Hanita Michaels. Love evolves between Vytas and Hanita as they plan for a future that may never come. As The United Western Territories await the inevitable, deception takes root and tragedy ensues. But still, they find hope in the plan the confederation developed for their survival.
