The Commission found that the burdens of filing this information outweigh any benefit from the information. To simplify the collection of data on international telecommunications services, the Commission consolidated the traffic and revenue and circuit status reports into one rule and mandated a consolidated Filing Manual that will ensure that future changes to the reports will be coordinated. These actions are part of the Commission's review of its reporting requirements and are intended to remove unnecessary information collections and tailor its information collections to the current state of the international telecommunications market.
