Through links with the community and the local police, they discover the intent of the buy-up is to rezone the farmlands to develop mega-housing, and destroy the delicate ecosystem and wine producing promise of the Jory Hills AVA. A surprise discovery leads them down a path of intrigue and betrayal; by exposing the plot to ruin the land, they expose the murderer.
