The Day They Came Back
Mark Cusco Ailes
It's been one hundred and three years since the aliens first invaded the planet. They took out our power and our communications, sending us back into the dark ages. They spread a super virus using birds to try to eliminate all of mankind. Their plan failed. There were survivors and they fought back until the aliens were defeated. A world in shambles was left to put itself back together. Through the years a new government was formed, and a space defense station was built on the moon using a combination of human and alien technologies to keep the planet safe from future alien invasions. Some of the old technology stayed the same such as cars, but some of the technology progressed using the alien technology left when the aliens were defeated. It was now believed the planet was ready for the next attack if one ever happened. They were wrong.
