This final rule establishes regulations on the allocation of marketable credits for the acquisition of EISA-specified electric drive vehicles and for investments in qualified alternative fuel infrastructure, qualified alternative fuel non-road equipment, and relevant emerging technologies. DOE also is promulgating modifications to the exemption process and the Alternative Compliance option, as well as a number of technical and other revisions that will make the Program regulations clearer.
