This book is the story of a prisoner's life, which shows that the mirror of separations would not reflect any image other than pain and sorrow. If we look through the dusty windows of the victims' lives at the endless and scorching deserts they have lived through, we would see that they have never tasted the love and kindness which is the fruit of life. The kids who have grown up in a slow death around their parents' conflicts have been running all around in the deserts of their lives, desperately longing for a touch of kindness to quench their thirsty souls. But, alas, this desire is nothing but a mirage for them.
