City of Dragons is the third book in a trilogy set in a fantasy world where dragons have returned to the sky. We follow a young elf woman named Willowtide, and a young human warrior named Archer. Their fates have become more and more entwined, and now their quest is reaching its climax. They must defeat the Troglodyte King, who has rekindled ancient enmities between human, elf, dwarf, and halfling, causing them to make war against each other rather defending themselves against his monstrous hordes. To defeat him, Willowtide and Archer have to go underground, to the subterranean halls of the troglodytes, in search of the magical weapon that will save their world.
