Jesus Resurrects a Dead Girl and Heals a Sick Woman Michael Dow

Jesus is a conduit for our Father's healing power. Jesus inspires trust in God's saving power and enables us to reach out in faith for a miracle. Matthew 9:18-26 is a passage in the Christian New Testament that recounts a time when Jesus was interrupted during a teaching session to help bring God's healing power to resurrect a deceased daughter. On the way to the official's house, a woman that had been sick for 12 years reached out to touch Jesus' cloak because she believed if she only touched his garments that she would be healed. And it happened just as she believed! Jesus then entered the official's home and told all of the grieving people to leave because the little girl was only sleeping and not dead. The people ridiculed and mocked him. After the crowd left, Jesus held the girl's hand and she was resurrected. What a story! No wonder people shared this story with all of their friends throughout the whole countryside. Jesus is alive today and the Holy Spirit helps to manifest the Father's Kingdom throughout the Earth with the same healing power that this passage in Matthew's Gospel recounts.
