The Australian Outback is a hot, remote, desolate place to die. Skeletal remains of several young women have been discovered in the bottom of a long abandoned well, and Major Crime Investigators Russell Foley and Sam Rose are assigned to the case. Foley and Rose soon learn a number of young backpackers, traveling around Australia on the adventure of a lifetime, have been reported missing in the area. Are these the remains of those unfortunate young women? As yet another young girl is reported missing, Foley and Rose find themselves in a race against time to find her before she becomes another victim at the bottom of the well. But can they find the killer amid millions of acres of nothing - and stay alive in the process?
