About Me: Lakisha Copeland was born on October 22, 1985, in Atlanta, GA. In 2004, she graduated high school and sought admission to college. Copeland survived hardships for three years until she graduated from DeVry University in 2007. She began pursuing the righteous path. She went back to church in 2009. As a result, God set her free from suicide, depression, and low self-esteem. As God embraced Lakisha Copeland, she was encompassed with love, and she began to read about how God was urging her to have healthy self-esteem. She authored her first book under the title Discovering Your Identity in Christ. In 2016, she completed her Master's degree in Organization Leadership and she initiated her own business, Winning While Waiting."Copeland also protested for Marsy's law and Equal Rights Amendment.
