Mala, the wife of Commander Milan Mazumdar knows that she is on the verge of losing her beloved husband and goes down the memory lane which only affirms the fact that no one has or will ever mean to her as much as he did. She gradually picks up the threads of her life after he is gone and three years later a man from London with the same name makes his way into her life with the sole aim of marrying her.
