Dear Journal, Tonight is my school's Homecoming dance, and I could not be more excited! Not only am I a nominee for Homecoming Queen, but my best friends and I are going to dance the night away! We have the dresses, the shoes, the hair, nails, toes, and makeup for tonight! Even though I am looking forward to tonight, I am also a little sad. Three weeks ago after four months of being together, my boyfriend and I called it quits. The long distance was getting hard for us, so we made the hard decision to call it quits. The good news for this is that there is no animosity or anger between us. We have nothing but respect and good wishes for one another! However, this does not change the fact that I miss him, and sometimes wish that we could get back together.-Mitchie
