Many of Tolstoy's stories have appeared in Tamil. However, the epic 'Two People' has not yet appeared in Tamil.



Fear of death continues to haunt man. Man overcomes the fear of death when he frightens man, forgets himself and dares to help others, as long as he lives with the narrow memories of himself -- himself. The peace of mind that he had not had until then came to him spontaneously. -- Tolstoy wrote two stories to illustrate this fact. One of them is 'two people'. In this story he beautifully portrays the struggles of the human psyche, the nature of natural mania, and the intelligence of animals.



Foremost among the best of Tolstoy's stories is 'Crime and Punishment'.
