This is the story of a young girl and two unrequited loves. When the one she loves, Tyler, announces his engagement to someone else, she is forced to leave her home to try to mend her broken heart, leaving behind Witt, the one who loves her.
Circumstances draw her back home. She learns Tyler's engagement has been called off, so she has new hopes of getting his attention.
She soon learns that she will have a decision to make when her brother tells her of Witt's feelings, something she was unaware of.
She knows she shouldn't see Tyler, but her heart won't let her say no to him.
Their affair and an unfortunate decision made by her nearly ruins her reputation. She flees back to the city to devote her life to her career.
She is once again drawn back home to open a dress shop with her best friend. By then, she knows who her true love is, but a simple misunderstanding causes her to lose him.
If it weren't for two very determined friends, their story might have had a very different ending.
