Trust. Humility. Faithfulness. Belief in someone's potential. These are the four essential bricks crucial to growing intimate friendships with people. But there can be more - much more! If we can use these four building bricks in growing intimate friendships with one another, shouldn't we use the same building blocks to grow an intimate friendship with God? This is a question author Tony Gael has asked for many years. Since becoming a Christian at the age of six and with all of the years of spiritually traveling, not to mention the amount of spiritual wrestling, Tony has come to the inescapable belief that yes, we can, and yes, we should. But how? Tony is a self-described Christian adventurer and explorer. He has experienced traversing the high and mighty mountain peaks (oh boy!) and walked through the low and sandy deserts (oh no!). But a Christian needn't experience these things alone. God has not made life in such a way as to go it alone. He has made us experience life through friendships with one another (cool) and with Him (awesome!). So, grab some bricks, some mortar, and a trowel, and let's start building together. Tony is a graduate of Emmaus Bible College and Denver Seminary. He expresses his love for God in poetry, his blog (Trippin with Tony) and in a public speaking ministry, 1U Ministries. He is a grandfather, loves babies (his favorite church ministry, other than teaching, is hanging out in the baby nursery) and Iowa Hawkeye wrestling (the wrestling is more like an addiction).
