Samantha Harris suffers from a chronic disease, and her overbearing mother takes care of every aspect of her life. Her world is turned upside down when she meets dashing young doctor Hank Abbot. Her mother attempts to forbid Hank from seeing her daughter after he tells Samantha about a surgery that could fix her condition, but is also incredibly risky. In the end, Sam convinces her mother that Hank only wants what's best for her. After being released from the hospital, Sam and Hank keep in touch. Her condition takes a turn for the worse and Samantha finds herself in the brink of death.......
