About the Author




On a professional level, Kristi Jo Shields has a bachelor's degree and her past occupation was a Therapeutic Recreation Specialist. During the Pandemic she was laid off from her current job and had to rely on her therapeutic skills to keep her family positive, healthy, and happy. She is a mother of two sons and one daughter, one dog, and one cat.




Whether she's being a mother, a Therapeutic Recreation Specialist, or a hairstylist, Kristi will always appreciate the small things that make our world special. That is how her book came to life. She's always enjoyed writing stories in a poetic form like her grandma taught her.
