Waiting At Woy Woy Robin George
Waiting At Woy Woy
Robin George
In a little town, by a lake called Woy Woy, is a group of people all waiting for something to happen. They spend their days staring out windows, waiting for friends or someone to stock the lake with fish. Only a small, piano-playing mouse breaks up the boredom. But when the rains come, the poor mouse is washed into a flood. Everyone is so used to waiting, they're unsure of what to do, and it takes a very brave dog to show them that waiting at Woy Woy is a waste of their time.
Beautifully illustrated in gorgeous watercolors by Emily Snape, and written by debut Australian author, Robin George. Waiting at Woy Woy teaches a valuable lesson about bravery, taking action, and never lose a day waiting for something to happen.
