Have you ever considered the fact that nothing "just happens"? Everything that was done to you in your life required God's permission. We are always going to have a Goliath, a Judas, a Pontius Pilate who stands against us in our lives. It was my Judas who set the stage and put me on course for my destiny.

Remember Legion? Remember how Jesus cast the demons out of his body? These demons fled into a herd of pigs, only to be drowned in the river. The townspeople came to witness Legion's miracle, but then asked Jesus to leave when they realized it was their pigs that drowned. Isn't that how most people are? Happy for us until they realize it costs them something. All of a sudden, they're gone. This too required God's permission.

We all have a Judas who has betrayed us. We all have a Goliath that fought us, we all have a Pontius Pilate who crucified us, and a Pharaoh who assigns us our identity. All these obstacles in our lives were positioned to set us on course. What they meant for evil, God uses for our good.
