An outlaw gang is ravaging the small White Pine County mining camp of Ward, Nevada. The sheriff is grievously wounded in a battle with the gang and puts out the call to near-by counties for help.




Eureka County Deputy Sheriff Terrence Corcoran responds. Corcoran finds a community needing help but not helping and discovers far more criminal activity than he rode to help with.
