Eileen Albano, a newly admitted attorney, has landed a job at Weiss & Dorfman, a plaintiff's personal injury law firm located in lower Manhattan. For Eileen, who had always wanted to be a personal injury lawyer so she could help injured people get their money, it is a dream come true. But her dream soon turns into a nightmare as slowly but surely she starts to discover the many improprieties her bosses are engaging in on a regular basis. At first glance, they seem to be unethical practices, but as she investigates further, she finds out that the practices they are engaging in are not merely unethical but criminal.
