The world-famous fiction book, Alice in Wonderland, was written by Charles Ludwig Dodgson under the pseudonym of Lewis Carroll. This story is extremely popular among young and old alike and has been translated into 174 languages all over the world. Many TV serials and films have been made because of this fabulous book.

The wonderland into which Alice literally falls is a fantasy world in which little Alice has to bravely face some of the most strange creatures in the shape of various animals and even the playing cards behaving like humans. Alice is of an adventurous nature, and she loves to grapple with intricate situations with aplomb and come out successfully.

It was indeed a challenging task to render the original story into Hindi with all the poems that are integral to the affairs narrated in the book, although a few adaptations had to be resorted to, mainly due to the dual meanings of words. We are sure that the readers will thoroughly enjoy the story which is available in Hindi for the first time in full form.
