Quinn's desire in life is to someday be a scientist to help push society forward. As a young child, Quinn's physical attributes subject him physical and verbal abuse not only by his peers but also by those in authority who owe a duty of care to all. This abuse pushes Quinn into a negative metal state which impedes self-discovery, self-growth, and any opportunity to reach full cognitive potential.

Quinn is raised by a loving, courageous, and self-sacrificing single parent, a parent who offers nothing but unconditional love and encouragement for all of his endeavors.

During Quinn's harrowing journey, he is unwillingly thrust into a world of mysticism; then an unforgivable act of betrayal sets into motion a series of events that drastically affects his life and the lives of those around him.
