All addictions take control of every aspect of an individual's life, physically, mentally, socially, financially, and spiritually-spiritually being the vital part of life that is missed, overlooked, or taken lightly when individuals seek recovery from an addiction. This is why they do not succeed. All illnesses require some form of healing in order to recover. There must be a spiritual healing when it comes to addiction. When a person recovers spiritually, all other areas of life can be controlled and/or accepted.
