As believers, we know we are to study the Bible, memorize it, and obey it. But does the Bible say what we think it says? There are many phrases that sound like they come from the Bible, but are they right? Are they scriptural? Are they part of God's plan for His church? Or are they culturally induced beliefs and practices that have been developed out of traditions of men and are contrary to God's expressed directions? The writer invites you to examine a little closer your beliefs as we examine some familiar statements of questions to determine if they are church myths or biblical truths. The purpose of this book is to examine some beliefs that are widespread throughout the institutional church as biblical truths; statements such as "Come as you are;" "Once saved, always saved;" and "Christians cannot live under a curse," and many others.
