The end of the world is coming.

On the run from the Paragon Academy, James, Falling Star, Lumen, and the rest meet up on their alien fathers spaceship on the shores of Venus. Together they must travel to the Hidden Mountain and face a test to determine which of them are members of the Twelve Heroes, a band of super beings charged with protecting the universe.

With the Eye of the Keeper, the Twelve Heroes wield the power to heal the Earth but if the amulet falls into the wrong hands, that power could destroy everything. The Star Children must keep the Eye out of the Paragon Academys nefarious clutchesor risk the possibility of demons running free, plunging humanity into chaos and darkness. But they will have to work together. After all, no one has ever saved the world by themselves.
