Depression came to this family as far back as with Great-grandma. Although they had no proper medication in the early days, this protagonist was able to live life as a normal, functioning person, raise her children, work in a profession with children. And after her husband's death, lived through her grieving and finding her true love through all of the sadness this family faced throughout the story of their lives.
