Experience has shown that learners and users of intermediate statistics usually face a number difficulties in understanding and using statistics at this level. The purpose of this book is therefore to enable the reader to quickly develop skills and attitudes and develop strategic thinking in exploring the frames of the practice and science of collecting and analyzing numerical data in large quantities especially for the purpose of inferring proportion in a whole from those in a representative sample from an intermediate perspective. Statistical concepts are applied with the help of numerical examples to issues and problems of all works of life. More specifically this book starts with a presentation of basic algebra and followed by some core concepts of statistics. It ends with abbreviations and integrals of functions.
