For the safety of all our children who have experienced bullying, violence, and abuse, it is imperative that society take a stand. Dr. Yushonda Midgette's hope is that kindergarten through middle school students will use her book to help them express themselves through journaling, dance therapy, and music to enhance their self-esteem, and to deal with social-emotional and mental health issues that may arise. This important and timely book is written for parents, teachers, school administrators, and community leaders to use in taking a stand for school safety, and against guns, violence, and bullying on behalf of our school-aged children who have been victims. It is vital that affected students know they are not alone.
