You will also get a look at what it was like 50+ years ago compared to today. The author hopes to help people just coming out, and the person who has come out but feels alone on their journey. She wants to benefit parents, families and friends who realize they love someone who is LGBTQ+ but doesn't know what it means. This book is meant to inspire anyone who wants to be educated about this community and help people who think it is a choice or wrong to be LGBTQ+ realize that what they think is false.
