Devima Sri Jayakumari Amma

Devima is a mythological story woven around the rich 1,20,000-year-old history of the Himalayan valley. Through a lifespan that stretched beyond 3000 years, Devima could attract both worldly and angelic beings. Her skills and knowledge were infinitely enriching and immensely divine-like. Prabhas (refer book Prabhas En Brahma Ratchasan), at the time this story happened, was a young, fervent man by the name Niranjan. Niranjan's might and valour drew many towards him but he also carried an unsettling pain inside. A pain caused by his intense love for Devima - a love that was not limited to this one birth alone but that which endured eons and several past births.




In spite of knowing this love for her, Devima chooses to live a life of morality and righteousness. How do Niranjan and Devima meet in this birth? What entangled irony awaits them? Is Niranjan the hero or the villain?




The story unravels itself and so do the reasons why Prabhas is now living a life of celibacy far away from the very word 'love'.
