People often say, "Think outside the box." Have you ever felt boxed in by life's circumstances or labels given by well-meaning, but horrendous people who could care less about you or your well-being or sanity?

If your life were a collection of boxes you kept hidden away in your closet, what would that look like? Which one would you choose to take down today and open, setting the course for your thoughts, actions, and how you treat yourself and others? Who and what do you allow to define yourself, other than God? Filled with scripture and hilarious, heart-wrenching experiences from my own life, I'd like to encourage you to step into God's truth of who you are and toss aside the lies of the enemy.

You will journey with me through years of being a military spouse, teen motherhood, depression and anxiety, raising a very angry son, and allowing other people to tell me who I am and what my life should be like, based purely on their opinions and stereotypes. The thing is, I have been through so much, and the enemy has lied repeatedly to me, and it is time to stand up, toss those boxes aside and allow God to speak into our lives and minds, renewing our minds through his word, and defining us with his truth. After all, He is the only one that has the pleasure and the right to do so.
