A proud mother and grandmother, Helen Dobbs lives in Snellville, Georgia, with her husband, Jim. She is a lover of the Spanish language and culture, having lived in Catacamas, Honduras, where she taught in the School of the Good Samaritan. While there, she formed an intimate friendship with a Honduran family that continues to this day. They are an integral part of and a blessing in her life.




Do Hummingbirds Have Cavities? is a story Helen has waited to write for a long time, inspiration having originally struck back in the early 1970's to tell a story about her six and seven-year-old grandsons, Don and Terry. After all the passing years, Do Hummingbirds Have Cavities? has come to life!
