Mark Randall grew up on a military base in Japan during the Vietnam war, and later, on a mission station during the civil war in Zimbabwe. He attended Samford University and UAB School of Medicine in Birmingham, Alabama. He and his wife together appreciate multiple cultures after several trips to the Caribbean, backpacking across Europe, and working in several countries in East Asia.

Kaleb Wilkins is a freelance illustrator from Northern Alabama. He has been influenced by all things fantasy and sci-fi, as well as the rural wilderness of his hometown. He loves creating character designs that help actualize the worlds they live in.
