Lost and Found Again, is a book about a brother and sister who in their late teens, in the mid 1800's, run away from their home in Stillwater, Minnesota to escape an abusive father. The two siblings supposedly raised in a Christian family differ in that Morgan the brother has given up on his belief in God even though his sister, Sally remains trusting in her faith having incurred most of the abuse. The story starts in 1849 with the backdrop of the historic goldrush. Their journey West to Arizona and the experiences and hardships that challenge them makes every day an adventure. The cities, riverboats, buildings, events, and society itself referenced in this book are all factual for the time with few liberties taken by the author. Morgan returns to his Christian beliefs, through the miracles and grace that God shows him using the influence of his sister, Sally. The journey back is not easy. It relates to the conflict that many face today. Wes discovered Christ at the age of 16, experiencing the true impact of faith. At 19 after the sudden loss of his father he quit college to become an entrepreneur. His faith became mixed at times, believing in God, but confused over the need for a relationship with Christ until later in life. He was a professional musician, record company executive, stockbroker, investment banker and corporate executive for a number of companies in several fields. Wes and his wife Linda live in Prescott, the Christian capital of Arizona, which provided geographical inspiration for his writing, surrounded by the history of the Old West.
